Dr Hua joined us as a GPST3 Trainee in February 2024.

Dr Sullivan joined us as GPST3 Trainee in August 2024.

Liz joined our team as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in 2017.  Whilst she sees and treats patients of all ages, her speciality is Paediatrics, having many years experience in a hospital environment advising and treating children of all ages.  

Alicia qualified in 1978 and in 1999 she obtained her BSc (Hons) Healthcare Practitioner.  She supports the work of the GPs, utilising her Independant Prescribing Qualification where appropriate to reduce patient waiting times.  Other clinical interests include Asthma, Diabetes, hypertension and CHD chronic disease clinics.

Qualified in 2000 as an adult nurse, Elaine worked across various acute hospital settings including Cardiology and Neurology, before moving to General Practice Nursing. She supports the work of the GPs, utilising her Independant Prescribing Qualification where appropriate to reduce patient waiting times.

Kerry, our most recent addition to our ANP Team has been a Independent Prescriber for a number of years.  She has extensive knowledge of Chronic Disease Management , especially in Diabetes and CVD and is expanding the range of Minor Illnesses she can treat as a Trainee ANP.

Bernadette joined our team in 2022.  She brings with her extensive experience of Chronic Disease Management for her role of Senior Practice Nurse.

Yvonne joined the practice in 2023.  As Senior Practice Nurse she has a special interest in Diabetes Management.

Michaela rejoined our team in 2022 as treatment room nurse, but now is moving into a chronic disease management role along with well women clinics.

Jade recently joined our team as Treatment Room Nurse.

Marilyn joined our team in 2022 as a NHS CTAC Treatment room Nurse.

Leeanne has recently joined us as NHS CTAC Phlebotomist.

BA Business Management

Alison joined Cos Lane in 2009 having worked over 20 years in business.  Her role as Practice Manager covers all aspects of running the business for the Partners.  As the Practice's Feedback and Complaints Officer she has a specific interest in Quality Improvement and enhancing patient care. 

Julie, our Office Manager joined the practice in 1984.  She leads the admin team in supporting the work of the Practice.

Kylie is our Assistant Office Manager who assists Julie in the running of the admin side of the practice.

The admin team at Cos Lane consist of Louise, Jane, Caroline, Lynne, Heather, Pamela, Anna, Alison and Joanne.

They support the clinical staff and are often the patients' first contact with the practice.  They will assist you with queries, book appointments, process prescription requests, give out results information and many other administrative duties.  Please assist them when you speak to them by explaining clearly what you would like and answering any questions they have for you as they need information from you to make sure you get the correct information and services you require.

Also housed within the surgery are community nurses and a podiatrist employed by Fife Primary Care Trust. Our area psychiatrists and psychologists and Community Mental Health Nurse, Ivan Houston also run clinics within the building.

We are lucky to have a Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist in General Practice, Jill Geyer working 3 sessions a week at Cos Lane.  She will assess, treat and advise patients and works closely with the rest of the team. 

A member of NHS Fife pharmacy team works in the practice every day and they are available to assist with medication queries.
