When We Are ClosedNHS24.jpg

When the surgery is closed, you can call NHS 24 direct on 111.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999.

Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

If you just need some advice the NHS inform helpline can give you further information on illnesses and health conditions, NHS services and other support services available in your area.

To contact the helpline please phone 0800 22 44 88 (open 8am to 10pm, 7 days).

You may also find the NHS24 website helpful.

Your local pharmacist may also be able to help you.  You may even be able to utilise the Minor Ailment Service which offers advice and medication for certain ailments 'free of charge' if you are eligible.  More information on this service can be found in the Appointments section of our website under the 'Minor Ailment Service' tab.
