Opening Times

Please note we operate an emergency only telephone service between

8.00a.m. - 8.30a.m. and 5.00p.m. - 6.00p.m. 

On Tuesday and Thursday mornings until 8.00a.m. the telephones are answered by NHS24.

Please note, not all doctors and advanced nurse practitioners are available at all the above times.

Extended Hours                      

Do you find it difficult to make an appointment during working hours??

If so our new extended hours GP and nurse appointments may be for you…..

Every Tuesday and Thursday mornings we have appointments available from 7.15a.m.

When We Are Closed

When the surgery is closed, you can call NHS 24 direct on 111 for the out-of-hours service.  They are also very busy and will triage your call based on medical urgency.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999.

Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Practice Holidays

Cos Lane will be closed on the following Public Holidays:- 

October - Monday 7th October 2024

Christmas 2024 - Wednesday 25th December and Thursday 26th December 2024

New Year 2025 - Wednesday 1st January and Thursday 2nd January 2025

Please ensure you that you have ordered sufficient medication to last you over these periods of closure.

NHS24 provides cover during these periods please select the 'when we are closed tab' for more information.

Training Afternoons

Cos Lane is occasionally closed over lunch or in the afternoon for staff training.
