Nurse Practitioners

Elizabeth Melvin (f)

Liz joined our team as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in 2017.  Whilst she sees and treats patients of all ages, her speciality is Paediatrics, having many years experience in a hospital environment advising and treating children of all ages.  

Alicia Miller (f)

Alicia qualified in 1978 and in 1999 she obtained her BSc (Hons) Healthcare Practitioner.  She supports the work of the GPs, utilising her Independant Prescribing Qualification where appropriate to reduce patient waiting times.  Other clinical interests include Asthma, Diabetes, hypertension and CHD chronic disease clinics.

Elaine McSwan (f)

Qualified in 2000 as an adult nurse, Elaine worked across various acute hospital settings including Cardiology and Neurology, before moving to General Practice Nursing. She supports the work of the GPs, utilising her Independant Prescribing Qualification where appropriate to reduce patient waiting times.

Kerry Noble (f)

Kerry has been a Independent Prescriber for a number of years.  She has extensive knowledge of Chronic Disease Management , especially in Diabetes and CVD and is expanding the range of Minor Illnesses she can treat as a Trainee ANP.

Kerry is an Independent Prescriber and as Senior Practice Nurse has a special interest in chronic disease management and well woman clinics.  

Bernadette Hennen (f)

Bernadette joined our team in 2022.  She brings with her extensive experience of Chronic Disease Management for her role of Senior Practice Nurse.

Michaela Preece (f)

Michaela rejoined our team in 2022 as treatment room nurse, but now is moving into a chronic disease management role along with well women clinics.

Jade recently joined our team as Treatment Room Nurse.

Marilyn joined our team in 2022 as a NHS CTAC Treatment room Nurse.
